Today I, Jake and Sophie continued to film our opening sequence. Unfortunately when we did meet up the weather was horrendous making us not start filming until at least an hour and a half later and even when we did begin filming the rain was still on and off.

We managed to film up until the end of the third scene leaving us to film the final scene next weekend when Jess is back from her holiday.

Yesterday myself, Jake and Sophie began to record our opening sequence. Unfortunately due a family holiday Jess couldn’t join us in the process of filming what we did.

We began by meeting at Sophie’s house and 12:00 and discussing what the jobs for today were. We managed to get as far as filming half way through the third scene before there was a tragic change in weather and the battery on the video recorder being drained.

I believe I took a managerial role when filming the first scene and Sophie took a managerial role when shooting her scene.

We hope to continue filming on Thursday. 

Preliminary Task

As I have stated previously me and my group had to re-do our preliminary task due to many mistakes noticed when watching the footage back. As a group we decided to edit the filming on Monday but due to other commitments in school unfortunately me and Jake were unable to keep to this date therefore out next task is to meet up and complete the editing in our own time.  

Furthermore this week we had a visit from a year 13 student, Dylan Evans, who studies media in my school. This was a great opportunity as he spoke to us about his ups and downs whilst doing his opening sequence making us be sure not to make the same mistakes as him.
